[Luck 1] A Disk?

Beckett and Toothy went on a walk; the plants were bright in colour and the flowers were in bloom this time of year. Both of them walked into the woods, hoping to find some flowers to bring some colour into their home.
The air was cool and sweet from the smell of the flowers, though none of the flowers caught Becketts eye, they continued on until they stumbled across an opening with a bunch of clovers. Beckett had a lot of time on his hands so he decided to sit down and try to find one of the lucky 4 leaf clovers. He loved looking at the bright green that seemed to bounce off each leaf of the clover and spent a while just staring at their beauty.
After a while he found one, a very beautiful looking 4 leaf clover, and pinned it onto his jacket being quite pleased with himself. He looked around and moved to a new area of clovers, he wanted to look for a 4 leaf clover for Toothy too. He picked up and placed every clover as gently as he could with his long sharp fingers. Toothy laid down beside him, tired of all this seemingly useless work, and started to doze off. Beckett didn't mind and continued with his search.

It seemed like an hour had pass and he had no luck, after waking up toothy as softly as possible, he stood up and started to walk around the forest more. The forest was very calm and cool, birds could be heard from every direction. Beckett wasn't an outdoorsy person but he really enjoyed a nice breeze and the noises of nature such as wind and birds. He wore a smile walking deeper and deeper into the woods while Toothy hapily traveled behind him being happy to spend time with his caretaker. Beckett didn't want to leave the woods without finding a clover for Toothy or at least SOMETHING for Toothy, so as he walked he took in as much of his surroundings as he could.

While Beckett was looking for another 4 leaf clover he stumbled across a very shiny and mysterious disk. Both Beckett and his conpanion Toothy stood in awe from how bright and colourful the disk was. The disk was surrounded by more clovers and seem to be stuck partially in the ground. Beckett hesitated taking it out as he was unsure of how durable the disk was. As he picked up the disk the reflection of light was extremely bright, almost too bright to look at it, but at the right angle the disk could be seen in all it's beauty. The disk was a deep blue-ish grey and it shined in mainly blues, pinks and yellows. From far away it could just look like a regular disk, but for some reason Beckett felt like the disk was off somehow, as if the disk was unnatural in nature, was it the saturation of the colours? was it just the area it was found? Beckett was unsure what made him feel so unsure about this simple and ordinary looking disk.

Beckett wanted to go home and study this disk but didn't want to leave Toothy empty-handed (empty hoof-ed?) so he took his clover and sat down. He was going to use the thread in his pocket to tie any flowers he found together, but it seemed like he was too side tracked to care about that.  He looped part of the clover into the string and grabbed some more clovers from near where the disk was to tie with the string. He took a minute but he was happy with the results. Beckett then presented Toothy with a braclet made of thread and clovers with the lucky four leaf clover as the centerpiece. He lifted up one of Toothy's many hooves and tied on the braclet. Beckett liked to think that his friend was very happy about this, but the lack of facial expressions made it hard for Beckett to be confident in a real idea of what Toothy was feeling. Beckett then picked up the disk and they both started to walk back, happy with their finds.
