Capture the Moment

Nothing like an autumn storm to excite these bones. The dog seems to like it too. Should probably stop calling the dog "the dog".  It's just so... dog, y'know? I don't know much about these creatures but it seems to vibrate more when a storm is in the air. Interesting.

I don't know what I'm getting into. Better not name it for now. Not clear what its intentions are other than dog.

Supposedly there's places that research these things. I'm well overdue a look at the systems behind this. Especially this one.  I don't think you're supposed to find these at your door just for no reason. Might be time to engage in things again. Pandemic puts things in perspective, y'know? Just because you're hiding doesn't mean you can't hide outside in a rain jacket in a nice storm.

You want to pet it. It wiggles at you just like.... nothing you've seen before, that's for sure. You're just imagining familiarity.  You never had a dog.

...whatever. Need to keep it safe and warm, not sure what else it needs. It does seem to like leaves. And I'm not sure where my slippers went.

There's other people with dogs looking strangely. What, never seen this kind of dog before?

...better go home and lay low a bit longer. Gotta stop this one from getting scuffed up playing with other dogs.
